We built a one-bedroom cottage for my mother behind our house. What I valued most was knowing the price before they broke ground and getting a photo update every Friday.
Our architect drew the house and Larchwell built it. They flagged two costly details during design, which saved us a hard conversation later.
The garage was full of boxes. Now our son lives there with his own kitchen and front door. The permit took a while, but they told us why every step of the way.
The feasibility visit told us our lot needed more site work than we expected. They said so plainly, before we spent money on drawings.
